*the loves of my life*

Eight and a half years ago I was just one person. Now my soul is interconnected with four people that have become living part of me- my family. They have taught me so much about how strong I can be, and how vulnerable. I have learned true fear when I think about losing any one of them. I have learned courage by bringing them into the world, and letting them experience it. I have learned faith by listening to their testimonies, pure and simple. I have learned patience. I have learned to cherish the simple pleasures in life-- laughter, love, smiles, friendships. I have learned that little people come into the world with distinct personalities, and that I am not supposed to change who they are- but help them be the best they can be. I cherish each moment I spend with each of my family members... and the valuable lessons they teach me. Each day I realize how little I know and how much there is to learn.

My dear family, I love you.

Alyssa, you have such a beautiful way of describing things with words. You really know how to put feelings into words. What a great talent that is.

I wish I had your gift of words. You're one of the onlys who really make me laugh, and then sometimes...like this post, you make me cry, because you say it so right, without to much sap.

I have the sap problem. Trying to overcome it though.

I LOVE your family. And, I love Sam's pic of prego you. Priceless!
Talk to you soon.

Alyssa, what touching reflections on the past seven years. My son was pretty smart when he chose YOU! Glad he got it right. (I think he's pretty special too.) I liked the homeless man in the pirate party. Kind of cute guy.. Hugs and grandma kisses to Sammy and Mia.
