*dinos and mummies*

Summer is finally here and we're enjoying every minute. Not that it's any different than regular life... just warmer. Last week we went to the Peabody museum at Yale University with our friends the Hobi Family. It's a natural history museum and you know what that means... dinosaurs!







(What I love about this picture is that Jennica kept trying to snuggle up to Sam and be all lovey dovey and he kept shoving her off. )

Along with the dinosaurs they had a cool kids exploring room with a live snake, bugs, and other things crawly, as well as fossils and other interesting objects to touch and look at with magnifying glasses. The kids loved that part, but I didn't get any pics because it got a little hectic there. They had some other cool exhibits too. Check out this flower, it's one of the biggest in the world.

One of our favorite parts was the Egyptian tomb. Ooooooh mummies! There's something cool about really old dead people.

In part of the Egyptian exhibit they had a maintenance door painted to match. You can only guess the kids' reaction when lights and sounds started coming from the other side...
