*blessed*

Eli was blessed on June 1st by his daddy. It was a really special day for all of us. Jared gave the most beautiful blessing, my dad stood in the circle, and my mom and brother were there to hear. Eli wore the little white suit that me and Kimmie sewed for Sam when he was blessed. Remember that suit Kimmie? He looked so cute. He didn't make a peep during the blessing. He's such a sweet, content child. Right now he's my dessert. I love looking down and seeing his little eyes study me and then when he sees me look at him his little face lights up into my favorite grin. He also follows my every move around the room. It's nice to have someone infatuated with me. His best time is right when he wakes up. He smiles for about a half an hour straight and I just sit there and watch and have a baby talk conversation with him... I can't get enough of his little smiles and coos. Sam and Mia are just as infatuated with him as ever. I was hoping the novelty would wear off by now, but they are in love. Sam and I were sitting on the couch and the baby was asleep near us. I thought Sam was watching the movie, but he was looking at the baby. Then he says "look at those cute chunky legs. Those are the cutest chunky legs in the whole world. And that's the cutest diaper bum in the whole world. How did we get such a cute baby?" We've established a house rule that "NO ONE touches the baby while hes asleep!" So instead Sam will blow him about 500 kisses from across the room. Eli has no lack of love, that's for sure. He's just plain lovable.
