Once you pull out the flip flops it's just wrong to have to go back to snow boots. Wrong. We have had gorgeous weather for two weeks now, and this morning we woke up to this...
As you can see by the kid's faces, they don't mind at all. Sam is thrilled. It's now noon and I haven't seen him all morning. At any moment he will realize that he's half frozen, but for now he's having a blast building snowmen and sledding down the hill. I have to admit, there is something lovely about snow- but Spring flirted with me for two weeks so I am a little bitter. I guess the other reason is that my parents and little brother, Aaron are headed out here this week and now I am trying to rearrange hotels and what not so that we won't have blizzard conditions in the Alps. There's not a prettier place than Switzerland though-- it wears snow just as well as it wears green hills and wildflowers- so I can't complain too much.

I can't even imagine how beautiful it must be there in person - whatever the season. It is fun to see all the great pictures.
