Yesterday we were sitting in front of the library and our conversation went something like this:

Mom: Hey Sam, look at those numbers on the building. (Referring to the date when the library was built.) What numbers are there?

Sam: one... nine... seven... nine.

Mom: That's right! Nineteen seventy nine. They put that number on the building so you know when it was built. Cool, huh.

Sam: uh huh.

Mom: You know what else happened that year? (Sam shakes head) I was born. So what does that mean?

Sam: (thinking) The building is really old?
