*rheinfall*

We went to visit the largest waterfall in Europe on Saturday. It is only about an hour drive from our house when you don't take the scenic route that I did to get there. The waterfall is pretty impressive and very beautiful. You start at the top of a cliff in a "schloss" or castle and then head down about 1,398 stairs (with lots of impressive views on the way) to the bottom of the falls. We took a boat ride (see pic of J & S) that took us out to a little rock right in the middle of the falls where you can climb to the top and get a great view of the castle off in the distance (see pic of A & M). The kids only shoved off a few slow climbers into the falls. And of course, after all that climbing we had to get some ice cream!

I can't believe you're so close to such an amazing place. I didn't even know about it. I definately want to go soon.

Beautiful! What a fun adventure. Mia looks pretty excited about that ice cream. I love her little outfit. What a cutie pie.

That place looks really cool! That would be fun to take some of our visitors to...can you get there by train? If not, guess we'll just have to get a car... :P I love the ice cream pics of the kids too.
