Mom finally put sand in the sandbox! Hooray!
We love to go on Sunday walks as a family. We usually go to the playground or throw rocks in the little stream by our house. Sam loves Jared to chase him on his bike.
Our strawberries are finally ripe. We're still working on only picking the red ones... but both kids claim they taste just as good "pink".
Playing with the hose is so much fun! I love to watch these two play together. They have such a bond these days. This morning I woke up and they were playing Sleeping Beauty and Prince Charming. Sam was definately running the show with a lot of commands. Mia just did a lot of sighing, but that seemed to satisfy him.

We took a trip with the Thomas family and went to the top of a local mountain. It was a gorgeous day and a great view. On the way down we went on the longest Alpine Slide in Switzerland -- 1350 meters long! It was SO AWESOME! Both Mia and Sam loved it-- Sam was yelling "Mayday, mayday!" and Mia was yelling "Yahoo!" I have to admit I did a little yahooing myself, well, until a bug went in my mouth.

I agree with Courtney. Sam looks exactly like Jared. I love that picture of the kids playing with the hose--so candid! I also love the family picture. I am a little envious that you get to be there in Switzerland. It sounds like you are having a wonderful time and making the most of the time you have there! Love, Jaime
These pictures are priceless. You each have your own little look alike. Sam and Jared look so much a like and Mia looks so much like you. Was your hair that blonde when you were little? Mia looks like such a character-always up to something. Sam and his alter ego crack me up. All you guys look great. Alyssa I really love your hair long.
You should get Jared to run a marathon or something over there. If I remember correctly he was a really good runner in highschool- the soccer coach would make him be the front runner to set the pace for the rest of the soccer players. So, he could do it. I agree with you though I really like being the supportive cheerleader at the finish line :).
I love this post - the pictures are great. If only I had your talent...you are such a great mom to do so many fun things with your kids. Even simple things, but things kids love. I hope I can learn from you while you're still here. Oh, and my butt, thighs, and everything else has popped along with my belly and I still have 3 months to go!
