I have been tired lately... wonder why. So I am not feeling particularly clever or funny tonight-- I know, i know, so uncommon for me, sorry to disappoint. But it's been a while since I posted and I wanted to publish a few pics of what's been going on at our house over the last month or so.

We got hit by a pretty big snow storm a few weeks ago. Sam and dad built some pretty fancy snowmen out in the front yard.


Mia has become a little artist lately. I love the little people she draws. She'll work for hours on pages of little people.

I thought this was so sweet-- it says "dad" "mom" "mia" and "sam" She hasn't really figured out that the letters have to be in a certain order for them to spell something... she thinks that if the letters are there than it says it.

I rented The Wizard of Oz from the library a few weeks ago and the kids were fanatical about it. Especially Mia who refers to it as "The Lizard of Oz". She's been singing her own rendition of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" ever since, which I've yet to record on video but need to. Here's some pictures they drew.

I also wanted to post a picture of some blankets that I can't wait to wrap our baby in when he comes... They are made of four layers of fabric which you sew lines across and then cut the back 3 layers so they will fray and become chenille-like (see pics below if you have no idea what I am talking about, which I don't blame you a bit). My sister brought out the brown one and we sewed it together while she was here-- so hip! I love the fabrics she chooses. My mom gave me the cute and cuddly yellow and blue one.


And last but not least, a "real or fake" test for you. Which one has the real baby under her shirt?



Oh, and my induction date is now one day later, the 26th-- and that's if they aren't busy that day. So pretty much, don't call us, we'll call you.
