I hate leaving my blog in such a sad state for too long. Things are going better here- not 100%, but doing better.
Mia finally "laid her egg". I have never been so happy to see a messy diaper in my entire life. I will spare the gruesome details, though it involved some tar-like medicine and much bribing and convincing. After that though, she continued to throw up for 18 hours. After being puked on for 3 different nights I was not looking forward to bed last night, however, she surprised us and slept through the night. I have never been so happy. I think we have done about 20 loads of laundry this week. She's still dehydrated and now were working toward keeping her regular. I have to say, this has been one of the most challenging weeks of my life.
I felt so helpless and felt so bad for my little girl. I can only imagine how it feels to be the parent of a terminally ill child. It's so hard to be strong for everybody.

On another note... IT SNOWED TODAY! I love the snow. I love going to sleep and waking up to snow. Next post will be more chipper-- I promise!!!

You know, I had a friend who had the same problem when we first went over to Taiwan. Actually, it never went away for her!! NOnetheless, not a very fun thing.
